PILSEN INDUSTRY, s.r.o.
Terms & conditions
Valid from 6 October 2026
1. Introduction
These general terms and conditions (“terms”) govern the relationship between PILSEN INDUSTRY, s.r.o., registered office Koželužská 3034/1, Jižní Předměstí, 301 00 Pilsen, Czech Republic, Company ID 23416645, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Regional Court in Pilsen, section C, file 46916 (“contractor”), and its customers (“client”) in the provision of service, technology, installation, operational and transport services.
These terms apply to contracts between businesses. Provisions of a contract, purchase order or confirmed quote take precedence over these terms.
2. Conclusion of contract
The client sends a request by e-mail, by phone or via the website form. On that basis, the contractor prepares a quote with the scope of work, price and expected timeline. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
A contract is concluded by written confirmation of an order, by signing a contract or by starting work on the basis of an agreed quote. For urgent service calls, an order may be placed verbally and confirmed by e-mail afterwards.
3. Scope and performance of services
The contractor performs services with professional care, in accordance with applicable legal and technical regulations and occupational safety rules. The contractor may use trusted subcontractors and is responsible for their work as if performed by itself.
Work beyond the agreed scope is carried out after prior agreement with the client. If such work cannot be postponed for safety reasons or to prevent damage, the contractor informs the client without undue delay.
4. Client cooperation
The client provides timely access to the site, the necessary utilities, documentation and information about the equipment, and briefs the contractor’s staff on site-specific health and safety risks and rules. Delays caused by lack of cooperation extend the delivery time accordingly.
5. Delivery times
Delivery times are stated in the quote or contract. The contractor is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, in particular delayed deliveries of parts from manufacturers, adverse site conditions or force majeure.
6. Price and payment terms
The price is set by the quote or contract. Unless agreed otherwise, the contractor invoices after completion and handover; long-term projects are invoiced according to agreed milestones. Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue. In the event of late payment, the contractor is entitled to statutory default interest.
7. Handover
Handover of the work is recorded in a handover report or confirmed in another verifiable way. Minor defects that do not prevent safe operation of the equipment are not a reason to refuse acceptance; the contractor will remedy them within the agreed time.
8. Liability for defects and warranty
The contractor is liable for defects in the work performed during the agreed warranty period; if none is agreed, the warranty is 6 months from handover. Supplied parts and equipment are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. The client must report defects in writing without undue delay after discovering them.
The warranty does not cover defects caused by improper operation, failure to follow operating instructions, normal wear and tear or third-party intervention.
9. Liability for damage
The contractor is liable for damage caused by breach of its obligations to the extent set out by law and the contract. The parties may agree to limit liability in the contract, in particular for indirect damage and loss of profit.
10. Final provisions
Matters not covered by these terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, in particular Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code. The contractor may amend these terms; contracts already concluded are governed by the version in force on the date of conclusion.
These terms take effect on 6 October 2026.
