Installation & relocation
Relocating a production line: what to think about before the first bolt
Moving a line is more than moving machines. What to prepare so the technology starts up at the new site without unnecessary complications.

Relocating a production line looks like a logistics task. In reality the outcome is decided during preparation: how thoroughly the line is documented, how it is split into transportable units and how well the new site is prepared.
Document the line while it is running
Before anything is disconnected, photograph and describe the wiring, settings and relative positions of the equipment. Label cables, hoses and piping. Reassembly at the new site then doesn’t depend on what someone remembers.
Prepare the new site before the machines arrive
Floors, anchoring, power supply, compressed air and distribution must be finished and checked in advance. When machines are waiting to be connected, production downtime gets longer.
Plan heavy load handling
Weight, dimensions, access routes and floor load capacity determine which equipment you will need. The handling plan should be ready before the crane arrives.
Allow for alignment and start-up
After positioning come levelling, connection, function checks and a gradual start-up. With linked equipment, coordination of mechanical, electrical and control work is essential so the line works as a whole again.
We handle relocations from dismantling and transport to start-up at the new site – whether it is a single machine or a complete line.
